This Return & Refund Policy applies to all products purchased from EDGE SMART DRIVE (hereinafter "we", "us", or "our") via our official website https://www.edgesmartdrive.com. By initiating a return or refund request, you acknowledge and agree to the strictly enforced terms outlined below.

1. Return Eligibility (30-Day Window)

To qualify for a return, items must meet the following strict conditions:

Timeframe: Return requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery (confirmed by tracking information).

Condition: Products must be in 100% Brand New, Unused, and Resellable condition.

Note: "Unused" means the product has never been submerged in water, installed, activated, or used for testing.

Completeness: All original packaging, tags, protective films, accessories, and documentation (e.g., user manual) must be included and intact.

2. Return Fees (Important)

If you choose to return a non-defective item (e.g., changed mind, ordered wrong model), please be aware of the following costs which are the customer's responsibility:

20% Restocking & Service Fee: A fee equal to 20% of the item's purchase price will be deducted from your refund. This covers our costs for rigorous testing, cleaning, repackaging, and restocking the precision equipment.

Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to our designated warehouse.

Original Shipping Non-Refundable: The original shipping fees you paid at checkout are non-refundable.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items strictly cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective:

Used Items: Any product that shows signs of use, water exposure, scratches, or wear.

Human Damage: Products damaged due to improper use, accidental drops, or improper storage after delivery.

Incomplete Packages: Returns missing parts or original packaging.

Custom Orders: Personalized items or special configurations made to order.

4. How to Start a Return

All returns require prior approval from our team. Do not ship items back without our confirmation.

1.Email Us: Send an email to store@edgesmartdrive.com with the subject line "Return Request - [Your Order Number]".

2.Provide Evidence: You must include:

Your full name and order number.

The name and SKU of the product(s).

A clear reason for the return.

Photos or Videos: Clear evidence proving the product and packaging are in brand new, sealed/unused condition.

3.Approval: Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days. If approved, we will send you detailed return instructions and our designated return address via email.

5. Return Shipping

Customer-Funded: You are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Trackable Shipping Required: Due to the high value of our products, you must use a trackable shipping method (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS) and purchase shipping insurance. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages during return transit.

Unauthorized Returns: Returns sent without prior approval or to the wrong address will be rejected and may be returned to you at your expense.

6. Return Inspection & Refund Processing

Once we receive your returned item, our engineering team will conduct a strict inspection (typically takes 3–5 business days).

If Approved (Brand New): We will process your refund minus the 20% restocking fee and original shipping costs.

If Rejected (Used/Damaged): We will notify you via email with photos of the issue. You will be responsible for the shipping cost to have the item returned to you, or it will be disposed of.

7. Refund Details

Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Timeline: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account after we process the refund.

Calculation: Refund Amount = Total Paid - Original Shipping Fees (paid by you) - 20% Restocking Fee.

8. Defective or Damaged Products (The Exception)

If you receive a product that is defective out-of-the-box, damaged in transit, or incorrect:

Notify Us: Contact store@edgesmartdrive.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos/videos.

Resolution: For verified quality issues or shipping damage, we will waive the restocking fee and arrange for a full refund or a free replacement (including covering the shipping costs).

9. Order Cancellations

Before Shipping: You may cancel an order for a full refund by contacting us immediately before the item is dispatched.

After Shipping: Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled. You must follow the standard return process (Subject to return shipping costs + 20% restocking fee).
